Threat Assessment Resources International can help law enforcement professionals, executive protection specialists, and security personnel enhance their ability to respond to, investigate, and reduce threats before harm occurs to someone they protect. TARI’s training, consultation, and research, services include the following:

Training
Threat Assessment Resources International provides basic, advanced, and specialized training on how to identify, assess, and manage individuals who make threats or show other concerning behavior toward a protectee. The training is based on operational research and best practices in the area of threat assessment.

  • Basic Threat Assessment Training - Appropriate for all law enforcement and security professionals.  This training provides lessons learned from attacks on public figures, common behaviors in public figure attackers, basic principles of threat assessment investigations, and establishing key liaison relationships for effective threat investigations.

The training covers the attacks against high-profile and high-net worth children (including kidnappings and attempts), implications for protection strategies and threat assessment investigations; training for child protectees to avoid abduction; and, available tracking technologies to enhance remote protection.
